There are a few words I’d use to describe Utah, but out of all of them the one that comes to the forefront of my mind is overwhelmingly simple. Utah is warm.

I don’t just mean the temperature though, everything about it was warm. Everywhere you looked you could see rocks of such a vibrant variety of red and orange that it seems as though they stole straight from the sun. The sunrises and sunsets only serve to amplify that feeling, as the sun rises it gives new life to the landscape and as it sets it does the reverse. Everything there had a warmth to it, not only the rocks and landscapes but also the towns and the cars. The sun left its presence on everything.

On a less weirdly poetic note, I seriously think some of the best sunrises and sunsets I have ever seen have come from this state. They are truly something else and if you ever get the opportunity to see them, take it!
